1. )                              How Information and Communications and Technology (ICT) has transformed the educational methodologies when you were in grade school and now in Senior High School.

      In education, information and communication technologies are used to assist, enhance, and optimize the transmission of information and enhances student engagement and knowledge retention. When ICT is used in the classroom, students become more involved in their work. This is because technology enables many different approaches to make teaching the same things more engaging and enjoyable. ICT was not as important while I was in elementary school. We don't use ICT very much; for example, we prefer to use books provided by the school to electronic textbooks or textbooks acquired online. ICT is currently highly important in senior high school, especially because of online classes due to the pandemic. Some lessons I don't comprehend, but due to the internet, I can now find what I'm seeking for. ICT make everything easier. 

2. Consider the following for comparison.

a)     The singing of the national anthem (Form a line, sing the national anthem with conductor)

      When we were in elementary school, our teacher asked us to form a line to attend the flag ceremony and sing the national anthem simultaneously. But, in senior high school, because it is an online class, students sing the national anthem, and the teacher just plays a video as the students sing.

b)      Concepts notes

      I used to write notes on every lesson in elementary school, but now I just use my phone and screenshot the lessons I need to study.

c)       Presentation of visual aids

      Before, visual aids could only be shown on manila paper or cartolina, but now in senior high school, Teachers and students can easily provide their visual aids through PowerPoint Presentation using Zoom or Google Meet's features such as Share Screen.

d)      Class record

      Before, the class adviser use a class record sheet to record but now, some teachers use their laptops to record.

e)       class dismissal

      When we were in elementary school, we had to clean our room first before going home. But now, our teacher simply say "goodbye and thank you class!" to which we must respond "goodbye and thank you ma'am/sir!"

f)        assignment and research

W                    When I was in elementary school, I used to complete my assignments and                              research on my own using my notes and books. I will only seek help from my                             parents if I am truly in need. However, because of the various credible resources                   available on the internet, my assignment and research are now much easier to                     complete.
